.......Our primary goal for The 911 Com Center of New Jersey / NJCOA website is to gather information on the 9-1-1 operators and the Comm Centers to which they are affiliated. Furthermore, our intent of this website is to build a bank of knowledge and experience, exchange ideas and create a strong network so that all public safety professionals can log on, to gather and share information.  This site will consequently provide the general public with a clearer view and a more thorough understanding of our profession.

.......We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to safeguard the lives and property of citizens; to assist in gathering information so that our profession can get the recognition we deserve and to enhance public safety communications.

       Our hope is to create a strong network of PST Professionals in New Jersey by combining your experiences, knowledge and expertise that can help others achieve a goal of excellence in Public Safety Communications.  I started out by calling 50 police agencies in a few counties as I was taking a salary survey for out contract negotiations. As you must know, most complaints concerned finances, shortage of workers. This lead me to believe that we need to find an avenue so that our issues....the voice behind the scene....the ear on the other end of the line....the one with a face, and a family and a life...the one that saves seconds and lives needs to be heard to.
